Proudly introducing 'Tireuse à l'arc,' an exquisite outdoor sculpture by Pierre Le Faguays, a renowned figure in the Art Deco era. Measuring a grand 77 cm in height, this remarkable sculpture is a testament to superlative craftsmanship and a piece of serene elegance that will transform any outdoor space. At its heart, it tells the story of 'Archery' as its French title, 'Tireuse à l'arc' suggests.

The creator, Pierre Le Faguays (1892-1962), also known as Pierre Le Fagoi, was an exceptional artist whose works accentuated the Art Deco movement. Born in Nantes, France, he refined his artistry at the renowned Paris School of Fine Arts, followed by a prolific career that saw many of his works being recognized for their adept portrayal of the era's aesthetics.

Pierrot's art often appeared under pseudonyms Fayral and Guerbe, the maiden names of his mother and wife. He won an illustrious medal in 1927 for his compositions, a worthy accolade for an artist of his caliber. Interestingly, the majority of his compositions were realized at his friend’s foundry, the celebrated sculptor Max Le Verrier (1891-1973). After opening in Paris in 1926, Le Verrier's foundry quickly earned its reputation for superior quality work.

The exquisitely crafted 'Tireuse à l'arc' outdoor sculpture is a poignant reminder of the mastery that characterizes Le Faguays' work – a blend of impeccable craftsmanship, captivating aesthetics, and a reflection of everyday scenarios told through art. It stands tall as an alluring addition to any outdoor space, a beacon of Art Deco's elegance and sophistication.
