The sculpture is based on the painting "The Permanence of Memory", painted by the great Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali in 1931. "The Persistence of Memory" is one of the most famous and reproducible works by Salvador Dali. Because of this, the picture has acquired a lot of folk names: "Time profile", "Leaking time", "Soft Clock", "Memory hardness", "Memory durability", etc.. From the moment of its writing to the present day, this work has become a symbol of the variability and instability of time and space. The theory of relativity formulated by Einstein, mixed in a special way in the artist's brain with observations of processed cheese, became the idea that prompted Dali to write this masterpiece.
