The statuette "Themis (Wednesday.gold.)"

We present an average-sized sculpture of Themis. This size is the most popular and popular. Like our other Themis, this work is distinguished by exceptional quality of execution. Attention is drawn to the minute detail of each element of Themis, starting from the fine elaboration of facial features and ending with the mantle on which each fold is written. The statuette is hand-covered with "gold", which gives it a special solemnity. Mayer Nicolas (ser. XIX century-1910) was a French sculptor, master of genre and allegorical sculpture. A native of Paris. He studied with Cordier. Since 1885, he has been a regular participant in the Paris Salon. Honorary member of the Academy of Painting and Sculpture in Paris.
