Sculpture "Diaghilev Ballet (color.)"

We present a composition dedicated to the performances of the Russian ballet group, organized by the talented entrepreneur Sergei Diaghilev abroad (since 1908 in Paris, since 1912 in London, since 1915 in other countries). The sculpture is large and heavy (41cm long, 9kg), made in color. It can become an interior decoration for your home. Demetre H. Chiparus (1886-1947) is one of the outstanding masters of the Art Deco style. His sculptures highlight the endless beauty of the dancers and the fashion of that period. Dmitry Chiparus was strongly influenced by the success of Diaghilev's "Russian Seasons" in Paris. Indeed, these motives are easy to trace in his work. Sculptures of the legendary Cleopatra, mysterious dancers of the ancient East are among the most famous among the master's legacy. A series of works dedicated to Diaghilev's ballets impresses not only with the skill of performance, but also with the external similarity with the soloists of the Russian troupe. By the way, the ballet troupe consisted of the leading dancers of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theaters. The "Russian Seasons" were a resounding success and ended in a real triumph.
