We present a large outdoor sculpture (77 cm in height), characterized by excellent workmanship. The original title of this work is "Tireuse à l'arc", which means "Archery" in French.Pierre Le Faguays (Pierre Le Fagoi) (1892-1962) was an outstanding master of the Art Deco era, who created many elegant works. Born in the French city of Nantes, Le Fagoi completed a course of study at the famous Paris School of Fine Arts. Le Fagoi often presented his compositions under the pseudonyms Fayral and Guerbe, the names of his mother and wife. In 1927, Le Fagoi was awarded a prestigious medal for his compositions. Most of Le Fagoi's compositions were performed at the foundry of his friend, the outstanding sculptor Max Le Verrier (1891-1973). The company was opened in Paris in 1926 and, thanks to its high level of performance, quickly began to enjoy a stable reputation.
