We present a fairly large, interior sculpture (50 cm in height). The original title of this work is "Tireuse à l'arc", which means "Archery" in French.Pierre Le Faguays (Pierre Le Fagoi) (1892-1962) - an outstanding master of the Art Deco era, who created many small elegant works. A native of the French city of Nantes, Le Fagoi completed a course of study at the famous Paris School of Fine Arts. Le Fagoi often presented his compositions under the pseudonyms Fayral and Guerbe - the names of his mother and wife. In 1927, Le Fagoi was awarded a prestigious medal for his compositions. Most of Le Fagoi's compositions were performed at the foundry of his friend, the outstanding sculptor Max Le Verrier (1891-1973). The company was opened in Paris in 1926 and, thanks to the high level of execution, it quickly began to enjoy a stable reputation.
